Café Presse is located on South Capitol Hill in the Seattle University neighborhood. The second collaboration of Le Pichet owners Joanne Herron and Jim Drohman offers full coffee service featuring Caffe Vita coffee and house-made pastries; affordable wines from the French countryside; a full bar open until 2am everyday; and a menu of casual Parisian café classics. The newsstand at Café Presse offers a wide selection of magazines and newspapers. Weekends at Café Presse mean soccer from America, Europe and around the globe in the bar. The biggest sporting event in the world, the FIFA World Cup 2010, begins on Friday June 11 with the match between Mexico and host nation South Africa, and culminates with the final match on Sunday July 11. Café Presse will feature every minute of every match on the big-screen television in our front room. Live matches will take place between 4am and 11am Seattle time. Café Presse will be showing matches live beginning 7am when we open and also replaying matches in the afternoon. You can pick up a handbill with the entire tournament schedule and team groupings at Café Presse.
